Which wood resin do you use?
We use strictly softwood, mainly pine, spruce and fir trees.
What are the advantages of having fine, medium
or large shavings?
That question is very personal; it depends on each
persons wants and needs. Most people chose the medium to fine
shavings. The fine shavings absorb more but have a little bit more
dust . The medium shavings are a good mixture of high absorption and
minimal dust. The large flakes are less absorbing, which means you use
more during cleaning, but has next to no dust. This is why we produce
a mixture of fine and medium.
What is the difference between heat sealed
bags and stapled bags?
The difference is the heat sealed bags are waterproof,
resistant to bad weather and have no staples to get mixed up with the
shavings and possibly wound your animal.
Are your bags plastic or paper?
Our bags are plastic they come in two colors black or white.
What is the pressure used to compress your bags?
The pressure used is about 3000 lbs .
What is the weight per bag?
The weight per bag depends on the size of the bag , for
example a 3.25 size bag can weigh as much as 40 lbs.
How many bags are on a pallet?
45 bags per pallet.
Do you supply a forklift?
No, we don't supply the forklift.
What is the weight of a pallet with bags?
A pallet full of bags weighs around 1800 pounds.
What is the average delay for a delivery?
In the peak seasons we like a 7 day notice, but sometimes delivery
is possible the same week depending where.
How long do I have to unload a floor load and a load on
pallets?
Floor load 3 hours. You need 4 to 5 people to help not counting
the driver. Pallets 30 to 60 minutes with a forklift.
Do you use your own trucks?
Yes we have our own trucking company. We have flat beds and dry
vans that are 53 ft . We also do containers for exportation, they
are 40ft high cube.
Do your prices vary from one season to the next?
Prices vary due to our primary product
and the price of fuel.

Payment is due on delivery (cash or check) .
What if we don't need a full truck load?
If you don't need a full truck load you can share a load with a
neighbour or friend if the distance between the two places are not far
apart.
